ILUSC is a flagship initiative of the James Hutton Institute, supported by the Macaulay Development Trust, aiming to promote high impact land-based science.

ILUSC promotes methodological excellence in open, land-based research.

Feature project: H2020 Framework: Biodiversity | Framework

FRAMEwork brings together farmers, extension services, SMEs, governmental agencies, NGOs and research centres of excellence to develop and showcase examples of biodiversity-sensitive farming in practice; to co-construct new and improved pathways, tools, training and results-based incentives that advance biodiversity-sensitive farming, to enable native biodiversity to become deeply rooted in agricultural practice.

H2020 Framework is a €7 million project coordinated by Dr Graham Begg of the James Hutton Institute, and funded through the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Research Programme.
